What is REBT?
Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) is a practical, evidence-based form of therapy that helps you understand why you feel the way you do, and what you can do to change it.
When we’re anxious, overwhelmed, or down, it’s often not only the situation that hurts us, but the way we interpret it. For example, you might find yourself thinking:
“I must not fail.”
“I can’t handle this.”
“I’m not good enough.”
In therapy, we slow these thoughts down, look at how they affect your emotions and actions, and learn how to respond in a more balanced and supportive way. This doesn’t mean “thinking positive.” It means building more flexible, realistic beliefs—so emotions feel more manageable and your choices feel clearer.
REBT is structured and collaborative. We focus on understanding patterns, practicing tools you can use in everyday life, and creating change that lasts.
